Island Themed Bedroom - New Berber Carpet with King Pillow Top Bed! New King Sized pillow top bed allows you luxurious sleeping at night and hardwood island furniture with inset Palm trees reminds you that you are in Kauai. New bedding includes 600 count sheets and Tommy Bahama King pillows. Large dresser with lots of drawers and 3 drawered night stands gives you plenty of room for clothes. Your bedroom has a 28" Flat Screen TV, use your 2nd telephone to call home, store your valuables in your Closet Digital Safe where you set the code, and enjoy plenty of hanger space with the large sliding mirrored closet. Use the dual alarm clocks, only if necessary!
(Additional sleeping space is available on the Sofabed, noted above,. or with a Queen Aerobed. Some Guests prefer to start their 1st night in the Living room listening to the sounds of the lapping waves outside your door.

Owner comment: We love the 2nd floor unit, you can run up the stairs or use the elevator, the view is spectacular and you feel like you are "above it all"! What is Around your Poipu Neighborhood? Did you know that Poipu is one of the driest, most beautiful areas of Kauai?!
Restaurants and Dining Kuhio Shores adjoins the Beach House Restaurant, a Honeymooners delight with gourmet dining known as the best spot on the Island to dine and enjoy a spectacular sunset! A professional photographer on site. Within minutes are other wonderful restaurants, including Roy’s Restaurant, Plantation Gardens, Joes on the Green, Casablanca and many more including conveniences stores and supermarkets. **A MUST SEE and DO** Every night we walk around to the ocean in front of Kuhio Shore and pause, as is Hawaiian custom, to watch and enjoy the sunsets. Each sunset is different and we have met couples from all over the country and the world enjoying this special custom!
Shopping Koloa Town is about 5 minutes away with food, bakeries, clothing stores, art galleries and Lappert's Ice Cream, a local Coffee and Ice Cream spot that is a must. Poipu Shopping Village is close with the Puka Dog, specialty hot dog shop, Roys Restaurant with the best Ahi Tuna on the Island and a spectacular Chocolate Souffle dessert, Crazy Shirts, Honolua Surf and 30 more shops and restaurants.
Sightseeing & Sunsets Kuhio Shores is located less than a mile from one of Kauai's most viewed natural wonders, Spouting Horn! This natural wonder spouts water up to 60 feet in the air and is right in your neighborhood. Across the street from Spouting Horn is the 300 acre National Tropical Botanical Garden (NOTE Remember the crazy, rooted tree in Juraissic Park, you will see it here!).
Sports & Recreation Surfing takes place every day outside your door. Sunset cruises are a mile away. Lawai Beach is directly adjacent to Kuhio Shores. Poipu Beach Park was voted the "Best Beach in the World" and is less than 2 miles away. So too is the Grand Hyatt & Poipu Bay Golf Course, home to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf with Tiger Woods. Tennis, horseback riding and hiking are close by.
Snorkeling and Water Sports: Giant sea turtles and tropical fish are found on the coral reef outside of your condo. It is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island.
